Built by people who ran link building out of a spreadsheet.
BuildLinks exists because the actual work of link building — orders, vendors, clients, invoices — never had a tool of its own.
Every link building operation we've seen runs on the same stack: a giant spreadsheet, a Slack channel, and a vendor's inbox. Orders get lost between tabs. Invoices get rebuilt by hand at the end of the month. Nobody knows if a link that went live in March is still live today.
Generic project tools don't fix this, because link building isn't a generic project. An order has a target URL, an anchor, a domain with a rating and a price, a vendor turnaround, and a client who should never see your cost. That's what BuildLinks models — nothing more, nothing less.
What we believe
- A status should be a fact. "Completed" means the link was verified live, automatically — not that someone remembered to update a cell.
- Your margin is your business. Clients see the price you set. Vendor cost stays yours.
- Solo shouldn't mean amateur. A freelancer should be able to run the same operation an agency does, with the same polish.
Where we are
BuildLinks is built and improved continuously — see the changelog for what shipped recently, or get in touch if you have questions. If you want to see the product before starting a trial, the product tour is a real narrated walkthrough of a real account.
